Support for the Foreign Aid Budget

Additional Information

Dear Prime Minister,

This is a counter e-petition to the recent petition started by the Daily Mail urging the government to divert some of the £11billion Foreign Aid Budget to ease the suffering of the British Flood victims.

Whilst we are sympathetic to the many victims of these recent floods, diverting funds from the Foreign Aid Budget, funds which support of some of the most vulnerable people all over the world, is not only a bad idea, but is unethical and we therefore urge you to keep this budget untouched and focus instead on other sources of funding for assisting and preventing similar events from occurring in the future.
