Petition Action

Tackling Modern Day Slavery in The UK

Additional Information

We the undersigned call for a new Modern Slavery Act to combat human trafficking
We are asking for the Government to start up a new police task force to specially deal with a growing issue in this country which is Domestic Slavery. In 2011 there were 326 reports of domestic slavery which 54% were mentally abused, 12% were sexually abused and 39% were physaically abused.
We want the government to also look at their visa policies and make sure that we can track people, who have entered the UK, to ensure that the work they moved over to do is as the job description described.
Help us stop slavery in the UK today!
