Petition Details

Invest in the long-term prevention of mental health issues by teaching young people basic Yoga techniques in school.

10 minutes of Yoga a day is proven to help young people better cope with stress, anxiety, improve self-esteem, behaviour, concentration, social interaction, fitness & health.

Additional Information

Invest in the prevention of children's mental health issues by:

a) revising school curriculums to include 10 minutes of Yoga practice in the classroom daily
b) training educators in simple yoga techniques and exercises that can be practised in the classroom
c) investing in yoga and meditation workshops for schools
