Petition Details

The Life Time ISA can only be opened by those between 18 to 39. The account offers a government bonus of 25% up to a maximum £1000 per a year. The ISA is admirable as it is designed to encourage the young to save towards a home deposit or retirement. But what about us oldies over 40, I want my bonus

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

You can find out more about the current eligibility and other rules for the Lifetime ISA here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to do.
