the rights of all stillborn babies to be given a proper birth certificate and a death certificate regardless of gestation and better support

Additional Information

The cause that launched a thousand balloons

I was pleased to assist Aldershot resident Mrs Angela Roberts with the latest venture in the “I Have Rights Too” campaign for rights for unborn babies, when she launched a 1000 colourful helium-filled balloons from her front garden (photos below).

The website – http://www.ihaverightstoo.co.uk/ - sets out the purpose of the campaign:

“We want to get the Government to change the law regarding this. We want to change mothers from receiving a heartless certificate of stillbirth and a
more companionate death certificate.

“However the mother has also given birth. Therefore it is only right that the mother be given a Birth Certificate also.

“This way the baby will by law be able to have been named and the birth will be legally registered.”
