Petition Action

The Road Traffic Act 1991 - Owner Liability

Additional Information

If you loan a vehicle to a friend, or one of your employees are using a work vehicle and they drive in a bus lane, the person that is liable is the OWNER, not the driver!

Doesn't make much sense does it?

How can someone that has no control of another actions be held liable for any such offence!

This needs to be changed immediately.
