Petition Action

This petition is to change the law on using animals to test for cosmetics.

Petition Details

We have been learning about animal testing in school and we think it is a disgrace to see what people are doing to innocent animals, it's not fair that these animals have to suffer for our beauty, happiness and self worth.

Additional Information

There is hundreds of videos and pictures on the internet about animal testing, most off which are very graphic and we didn't want to scare anybody by putting them up. You can go on Youtube or Google images to see this for yourself.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. It's clear that you're concerned about animal testing, but we're not sure how you'd like the law to be changed. You could start a new petition explaining clearly how you would like Parliament to change the law.
