Petition Action

To urge Her Majesty the Queen to commission a Royal Review of Policing

Additional Information

The purpose of this petition is to avoid the terrible action of permitting police officers the right to strike.

As a serving Police Constable I am proud to be an office holder and not an "employee", and understand the full implications of such a responsibility.

However, due to the Windsor and Carloway reviews the terms and conditions for my colleagues south of the border have forced their hand into this tragic action.

I implore the Government to ask Her Royal Highness the Queen to commission a Royal Review of Policing before our world renound service is destroyed beyond all recognition.

Ministers should live a day in our lives before hacking away at our safeguards.
