Turn off 50% of street lights and install reflectors on the remaining lights.

Additional Information

I petition that the government should turn off and remove 50% of all street lights, and install reflectors on all the remaining lights.
This will have several advantages,
it will reduce the quantity of the electricity used therefore produce less pollution and cost less,
it will also reduce the ground pollution therefore greatly improve the night sky,
it will also produce many jobs in the short term and pay for itself in the near future.
