"Voluntary Conscription"
All between the age of 17 & 24 where not in Full time education or already employed in the Army, Navy, Airforce, Ambulance, Fire Brigade & Police to enlist and complete a 2 years training program - all get selected for trade within any of the above the brightest and best offered places within the profession but all end up with a form of trade or job description for normal life outside of the uniform.
All are paid, all pay taxes - all are housed and fed - NO deployment until last 6 months to get a "real feel" for the job (armed forces NOT included)
