Vulnerable Adults | NEED MORE PROTECTION
Thousands of helpless family members/ friends are unable to help vulnerable adults as the Government believes them to be 18+. Age should not be considered when reporting suspected abuse or exploitation of a vulnerable adult. It should be fully investigated with or without victim's consent.
Example:
AB is a British Woman. AB's been forced into Sham Marriages, Money Scams and Prostitution . AB has learning difficulties, dyslexia, child like behaviour and is schizophrenic. No one knew AB's problems, including her family as AB wasn't able to express herself.
Currently AB is made to believe she has supernatural powers and is a 'Faith Healer'. These people exploiting her will not allow her to obtain Mental Health Support.

Petitions also need to include a clear request for action. We are not sure what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask for Parliament to change the law to give vulnerable adults the same protection as under 18s.
