Introduce Finnish-Style Baby Boxes for all Expectant or Adoptive Parents

Petition Details

We should give all expectant or adoptive parents a Maternity Package - a box containing all the basic items for childcare including: bodysuits, indoor / outdoor clothing, sleeping bag, nappies, cream, towel, care products and a small mattress (allows the box to be used as a crib).

The buying power of the UK Gov on behalf of the ~680,000 mothers plus adopters would be beneficial for costing.

The UK Gov. could work alongside the Finnish Gov in designing the programme.
