Make rail companies social enterprises instead of profit-making parasites
The shambolic performance of Southern rail shows that the system is broken. People are in fear of losing their jobs because they cannot reliably get a train to work. Parents spend little time with their children because of delayed journeys home. Who and what are the rail companies for?
