Lower prescription charges

Petition Details

Even being a full time employee, I find £8.20 a lot of money to have to find whilst I also have a family to support.
I understand that something should be paid but I dispute having to pay out all that especially when my health has gone down and have had to have 2 separate prescriptions in 2 weeks.

Additional Information

The government need to get the charges lowered as before long, prescription payers will rather stay sick then pay out all that money for an NHS prescription.
I also pay my national insurance and would rather pay a little more to have cheaper or free prescriptions as a UK tax payer.
Please join and sign the petition to ask to get the charges lowered or a new method as before long it will be over £10 for 1 item.
