Make all drink driving convictions carry a mandatory prison sentence.

Petition Details

Currently drink driving does not carry a mandatory prison sentence, as the law stands a prison sentence can only be imposed if the level of alcohol is exceptionally high. A mandatory custodial sentence may go a long way to making drink drivers think twice about driving under the influence.
