Petition Action

Apologise to the people of the US for attempting to ban Donald J. Trump.

Petition Details

By attempting to ban Trump from the UK, we are saying that many Americans are not welcome either.

The fact that the debate was given any serious consideration, hurts UK and US relations and spits in the face of freedom.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The UK Government and Parliament have not attempted to ban Donald J Trump from the UK.

The House of Commons debated two petitions on Monday 18 January: one calling for Mr Trump to be banned, and another calling for him not to be banned.

In any case, decisions to exclude individuals from the UK are made by the Home Secretary, not the House of Commons.
