Exam boards to make all results public on a database

Petition Details

To allow employers to quickly search a candidate's exam results. This will prevent people from lying on their CV and will encourage youths to want to succeed in their exams if they know that future employers will be able to see their exact results. A generic database would be better for all.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Exam boards are independent of both Government and Parliament.

You could start a petition asking the Government to make/ require exam boards to publish all results on a public database.
