BUILD MORE HOMES TO RESOLVE HOUSING SHORTAGE!
Government to do everything in its power to encourage and facilitate the building a minimum of 250,000 new homes per year through the private sector or failing that themselves.
Objectives:
- Resolve housing shortage
- Reduce prices to reasonable levels
- Create a large number of jobs/reduce unemployment
- Eventually reduce government spending on housing benefit
- Give people more money to spend in the rest of the economy.
