Reconsider the position of the Advertising Standards Authority on Political ads

Petition Details

In the wake of the EU Referendum I believe that the misleading messages sent by both the Leave & Remain campaigns led to voters being confused & ill informed. Messages implying 350M would be sent to the NHS & stopping immigration has lead to bigger issues. And it's not just in GB this is apparent.

Additional Information

At what would appear to be GBs last visit to EU Parliament certain British MEPs were accused by the President of the European Commission of misleading voters.

Please return this to factual politics and not a political game where people are not held accountable for their comments and ride the emotions of the people for their own personal gain.

With the ASA not allowed to intervene in Political advertising and Press regulation post Leveson little to unchanged, what hope do we have?
