Ban the practice of 'crossing the floor' by an elected member of parliament.

Petition Details

The practice of 'crossing the floor' in Parliament is dishonest and is a betrayal of the constituents who voted for a particular MP. If an MP wishes to either join a different party or form a new one he should announce his intention and immediately resign his seat in order to stand in a by-election.
