Make it an offence for an MP to mislead the public

Additional Information

After 700 years of democracy, it is time to make it an offence for an MP to knowingly mislead the public. Currently an MP will loose their position if they are found to have mislead parliament. The same should be true if an MP is found to have knowingly mislead the public.
