Petition Action

Stop the Deportation of Young People Based on Their Parents' Immigration Status.

Petition Details

Many young people who arrive in the UK at an early age are faced with deportation when they turn 18. For example, an 18 year old who has lived in the UK since the age 8 is treated like a criminal because of the immigration status of their parents– They are Labelled and stigmatized.

Additional Information

The Guardian article below, gives you an insight into the situation that many undocumented young people face.

We cannot begin to understand the emotional trauma that comes with being told you must leave a country you have lived in since you were a child and call home. These young people can no longer see their friends or go to places they are familiar with. Surely this can't be right.
