Section 5 of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration Act 1967 the Ombudsman is prevented by law from considering complaints from public. Why

Additional Information

Section 5 of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration Act 1967 the Ombudsman is prevented by law from considering complaints which have not been referred to her by an MP, any MP.

Archaic laws were targeted by freedom bill through the Deputy PM's Office. Despite my suggestion this archaic, unnecessary impediment in the way of improving public services prevents the public from approaching the PHSO directly.

It is time that it was repelled.
