Change the way Child Maintenence is calculated back to Net pay instead of Gross.

I am all for paying Child Maintenance. But since it has changed from Child Support to Child Maintenance they now calculate the amount you have to pay on your Gross income (before tax) instead of Net pay (after tax) I dont understand how this is fair as I do not see that money myself.

Additional Information

This measure was taken to make substantial savings in administration costs through close collaboration with HMRC but surely the amount should then be deducted from what I pay. This new system seems to punish the worker and contributer.
