Sack Adam Holloway MP for racism and prejudice against homeless

Petition Details

On 25th April 2018, Adam Holloway MP claimed sleeping rough is “a lot more comfortable than military exercises" and that homeless people in the UK could "make quite a lot of money from begging on the streets of London”.

His claimed that homeless people in London were entirely foreign.

Additional Information

This overlooks the fact that 72 homeless people died on the streets of the UK in the 2017/18 winter, and that the number of homeless people in the UK has trebled since his Tory government took power - while they have cut funding to a third of previous levels.

In fact, nearly 130,000 children are currently living homeless in the UK.

His comments are racist and overlook the need for government action to provide care for the homeless population in the UK. As such, he should be sacked.
