Petition Action

Hold the people’s vote movement to account for providing false figures.

Petition Details

The People’s vote march in London movement claimed that 700,000 people took part. This has since been proved false and a more genuine estimate has been placed at around 250,000. This could be assumed to be an attempt to mislead the public and parliament.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
