Ban Catapults/Slingshots – They are being used to Kill Wildlife.

Petition Details

People are intentionally firing catapults at Ducks, Pigeons, Swans, Moorhens & Other Wildfowl.

A poor shot will render an animal badly bruised, heavily swollen & will die slowly of sickness.

Additional Information

Right now, you can buy a Catapult online for less than £15 which has firing power to kill a rabbit.
The most basic, off the shelf, catapults will send an 8mm steel ball bearing towards a target at over 200 feet per second.

If you start to do some customising by adding heavier duty bands or doubling up with the bands it is possible to achieve nearer 300 feet per second.

This affordability & open trading allows a person of any age be able to purchase a lethal & concealable weapon.

I ask parliament to outright ban Catapults/Slingshots in the UK
