Include a 'None of the Above' box on all ballot papers.
Following Brexit, there have been concerns that neither Parliament or Govt are acting the nation’s interests. People have shown discontent by avoiding voting. This has been interpreted as apathy rather than despair. Too few people are aware that spoiling a ballot paper is a viable alternative.
In 01/19, it reported that 2/3 of the public do not feel that they're represented by the political parties (https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-poll-uk-public-trust-government-political-parties-bored-hope-not-hate-a8751406.html).
A YouGov Poll shows that the % of people who believe Govt is doing a good job has dropped from 30% in 04/18 to 7% in 01/19.
