Maximum 6 month waiting time for autism assessments
It can take two years or more for children to receive an autism assessment after referral. This is far too long. A child and parents need the correct tools to help one another.
The Government should set a limit of 6 months for individuals to be assessed and provide the necessary funding to make this happen in every part of England.
