Petition Action

Condemn the Indian Government for revoking Article 370.

Petition Details

Indian PM Modi, has revoked Article 370 ultimately taking away the semi autonomous status of Kashmir. The people have had communications blocked, curfews placed, leaders arrested and tens of thousands troops patrolling the streets. Why does our government not condemn these human rights violations.

Additional Information

PM Modi does not have the right to take away the special status of Kashmir without the people of Kashmir being involved.
PM Modi has stated that this is necessary to uplift the Kashmir region economically. But does gagging people, making arrests and violating human rights and withdrawing the democratic process show this. Could it be to allow Indians to own land , have jobs there, allowing for a demography change to eliminate the muslim majority.
