Increase the maximum custodial sentence for assaulting emergency workers
Assaults on emergency services workers continue to increase and the maximum custodial sentence needs to be substantially increased.
These workers deserve protection for serving the public and there needs to be a greater deterrent to those who believe it is acceptable to assault them
