CALL UPON THE UN TO INTERVENE & PREVENT ETHNIC CLEANSING IN JAMMU KASHMIR

Petition Details

The Indian Government’s unilateral revocation of articles 370 and 35A from their constitution without any engagement or regard to the Kashmiri people is a grave concern. The Total lockdown of Kashmir and arrests of opposition and pro Indian politicians, civilians adds to concerns of report of UNCHR

Additional Information

Seeking Freedom for Occupied Kashmiris has been a moral obligation on the British government ever since partition as it is a legacy of Britain's imperial past and we seek the government to call on the UN swiftly to intervene in Jammu Kashmir using ALL available legal means to prevent ethnic cleansing and immediately oversee a UN mandated plebiscite in the ENTIRE disputed region so that Kashmiris can determine their own future through democratic means.
