Improve nutrition training for NHS professionals and other healthcare services.

Petition Details

Doctors and other healthcare professionals appear to have very little training in nutrition and are largely unaware of the advances in nutrition, including supplements. The general public are deficient in key vitamins and minerals and many health conditions may arise if this is not addressed soon.

Additional Information

Hospital food standards are not good.
Pre-operation nutrition is not being addressed, such as routinely in countries like Japan.
Junk food is rife.
Obesity and diabetes are becoming epidemic.
Life is becoming more challenging with increasing levels of stress and various sources of pollution.
Nutrition levels in food have been decreasing and there is now a greater need for supplements.
