Nationalise the Bank of England.
A soveriegn nation should be in charge of producing it's own money... It should not be in the hands of private bankers who produce it for pennies then sell it to us at full face value (with interest), whilst at the same time manipulating the amount of currency in circulation to suit their own needs instead of the needs of the country.
