Law to impose new duties for employers on workplace Mental Health & Wellbeing.

Petition Details

- All companies should have a written Wellbeing Policy.
- Interactive seminars and workshops that engage employees on mental & physical Wellbeing with leading industry professionals.
-Introduce social interaction events / activities for employees outside the workplace focussed on wellbeing.

Additional Information

92% of companies at board level don't have a Wellbeing policy in place.
73% of people in a open plan office fail to talk to one another.
95% of people calling in sick with stress give a different reason.
89% of employees with poor mental health says it impacts their work.
86% of respondents to a recent Deloitte's survey reported they had witnessed Presenteeism (people at work whilst unwell) over the past 12 months.
MH survey for last 2 years shows increase from 41% in 2016/17 to 55% 2018/19 CIPD
