The Chancellor and Bank of England have introduced measures to protect businesses during the Covid 19 crisis. It is essential that any assistance is used to Pay People First, payments should be conditional on paying agreed salary and invoices from self employed subcontactors.

Additional Information

Inspired by the plight and make up of the live events and wider cultural sector, their largely self employed workforce has already seen diaries emptied. Cancelled events and curtailed tours will mean unpaid wages and freelancer bills unless assistance for businesses is conditional on settling these debts first. Put the money into struggling households: Pay People First.
