Petition Action

Have democratic votes on the removal of every Historical Statue in the U.K. .

Petition Details

I would like the government to give everyone in this country a say on the statues that are being taken down. We do live in a democracy after all

Additional Information

I want Parliament to do this as it’s the fairest way . You cannot change history you can only move forward which we have . Rather than removing statues perhaps more information about the history of the person should be written on a plague. I fear that many of the people protesting to get the statues removed are requesting this without the knowledge of the history of it and just following the crowd . It scares me that the BAEM have given a list of Statues they want removing do the rest of us not have a say .
