Provide financial support and funding for the UK's theatres and concert venues.
To debate and agree a package of measures to secure the future of theatres and concert venues.
The impact of the loss of this industry on the nation’s cultural life would be massive, the damage incalculable We have already lost at least four huge regional theatres in the past month or so and are in danger of losing more. Witness also the redundancies recently announced at the National Theatre, the Jewel in the Crown of the theatre industry in the UK.
