Remove power from head teachers to close school.

Additional Information

To remove the power from headteachers to close schools due to cold weather. i.e snow.

The cost to parents and the Department of Education is enormous when this action is taken.

The disruption goes way further than just the parents.

In most cases health and safety is used as an excuse.

We don't close hospitals so why do we close schools?
