Make a fair, individual Appeals Process against Centre Assessed Grades

Petition Details

Student’s appeal for a fair, individual appeals process against Centre Assessed Grades that takes into account many different factors: UCAS Predictions, mock exams, extenuating circumstances and situations, GCSE results, entrance exams, weak teacher-student relationships, discrimination and more.

Additional Information

For some students, especially medics, the U-turn decision still isn’t enough. Many students have still been unjustly denied the grades they deserve and university places.

Some teachers couldn't give students grades that they deserved on the basis of historical data (the results of the school's previous cohorts). For example, if there was 1 A* last year, some schools didn't give students worthy of and with the potential the A*,giving an A, fearing the algorithm would downgrade the whole class.
