Petition Action

Use compulsory purchase to ensure safe access to a full Coastal Path route

Petition Details

Covid-19 and Brexit have highlighted the need to improve the mental and physical and economic health of the nation. GPs are encouraged to prescribe exercise instead of drugs.

Additional Information

Family holidays, walking, camping, wildlife, cycling, water sports and tourism would all benefit from a National Trail.

A round Britain walking path would increase access to healthy walking. It would be good for the physical and spiritual health of our people.

It would be good for tourism and the economy: camp sites, B&B businesses, restaurants and activity parks would spring up and thrive along the path.

More holidays would be taken in the UK. Less money would flow out of the country.

The path would become an National icon, a symbol of post Brexit United Kingdom.
