Legal aid should only be available to UK residents.
Pass a law to ensure only UK residents are able to apply for legal aid.
To stop HR lawyers taking large amounts of tax payers money representing people who are not UK citizens.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
An attempt to introduce a residence test for civil legal aid via delegated legislation was declared unlawful by the Supreme Court in 2016. You can find the Court's decision, and its reasoning, here: www.supremecourt.uk/cases/uksc-2015-0255.html.
You could start a petition calling for a review of legal aid in the UK, if that is something you'd like to happen.
