Allow wedding receptions in Tier 3 locations with Covid testing
Supply or allow people to pay for tests to enable guests at intimate weddings to be tested. Use these results to then allow wedding receptions to happen in Tier 3 locations.
I have postponed my wedding twice now and had prepared for an intimate wedding on 22nd December instead. Because Kent has now been placed in Tier 3 of the restrictions we cannot have our guests for a reception to celebrate our marriage. Not only are we devastated but our florist and caterers are losing out on crucial business. With only 15 guests allowed there would only be a maximum of 20 tests needed per wedding.
