Allow Group Exercise classes to continue in Tier 3 areas

Petition Details

Review the rules on group exercise classes in tier 3 areas.
Group Exercise classes are Covid secure,
& are safe to run even in tier 3 areas as social distancing & strict hygiene procedures can be adhered to.

Additional Information

Group exercise classes are vital for mental as well as physical health. Classes provide a sense of community, & a safe space for people to exercise. Many people who come to a class as they don't feel comfortable going to a gym, because they have phyiscal needs such as illness or injury and need the guidance and support from a teacher to ensure that they are exercising safely. Classes become part of people's routine & support system, & as such are important for physical and mental health alike.
