Say NO to Offsetting ancient woodland
We strongly oppose the offsetting of ancient woodland to allow them to be destroyed for building of any kind.
We want these ancient woodlands protected from development.
Ancient woodland has a unique eco system which has taken hundreds of years to evolve. Proposing that planting new saplings can compensate for the destructon of ancient woodland shows how gaspingly unaware the Minister, Owen Paterson, is of the nature and make up of these places.
