Petition Details

Run a public awareness campaign for Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) so more people have a better understanding of the illness. The Government should also provide additional funding to support those suffering from it.

Additional Information

Pre Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder is a severe and chronic medical condition which can be misdiagnosed as Borderline Personality Disorder or Bipolar, meaning women aren't receiving the correct help they need.

PMDD is a sensitivity to hormone fluctuations, these can have detrimental effects on personal and work based relationships, resulting in women leaving their partners or jobs as their symptoms aren't managed correctly.
