Create a Covid Remembrance Public Holiday in 2023

Petition Details

Create a special one off public holiday in 2023 to acknowledge the sacrifice the nation paid in not being able to have meaningful funerals for loved ones who sadly passed away.

Additional Information

The nation obeyed restricted numbers on who could attend funerals. Mostly weddings can be rescheduled, with luck a birthday will come around again. BUT you only die once.

I like thousands if not millions of people lost both my parents in 2021. Not only was I not able to comfort them through their illnesses not covid in their cases, but further we were denied the comfort of having all friends and loved ones at the final goodbye.
