Politicians fined in the wake of the 'PartyGate' revelations must resign
Restore the perception of political honesty and public accountability - there must not be a clear suggestion that there is a different law applicable to politicians and office holders compared to the general public
Because trust in the electoral system and democratic engagement is increasingly jeopardised by evidence that politicians can no longer be forced to resign no matter what
