Increase every UK worker’s salary by 2.5% through an Act of Parliament
The compensation every worker in the UK earns for an hour’s work should be increased by the target inflation rate for one time, and be increased by the yearly inflation rate every year afterwards.
People’s salaries have been stagnant while inflation has been very high

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about pay rises for privately employed workers are a matter for their employers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to increase the national minimum wage, if that's something you'd like to happen.
