Discuss the ending of parliamentry privilege

Petition Details

To discuss the ending of parliamentry privilege to allow a more open government.

Additional Information

If someone makes a false statement agaianst a person or company within Parliament that person or company has no right of challenge. In other words, lies might be told which misleads Parliament. In civil law a decisin can be challenged but not a Parliamentry decision. North Korea we are not, but it is getting that way.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Not clear if you want parliamentary privilege to be reviewed or repealed. We could accept a petition requesting one of these.
